About our team
Dr Ben McFadden is a General Practitioner with a specialist interest in Dermatology. Having worked extensively within NHS Dermatology Services across East Sussex for over 10 years, he has developed broad knowledge and expertise in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of skin concerns. He is passionate about providing approachable, patient-centered care.
His wife Claire is the Clinic Manager and Health Care Assistant. She keeps the clinic running efficiently and often assists with treatments. She has 15 years’ experience in supporting and caring for patients on their skincare journey.
Together, they are committed to providing friendly, professional care within a welcoming clinic environment.

Really welcoming and friendly
I had a skin tag removal on my eyelid and I was really quite appreciative about having it done. Having researched local practices I came across BCM skincare and instantly felt at ease knowing that Ben was a GP so I felt comfortable booking in. Claire was so polite, friendly and helpful in her email contact with me and answered the questions I had. I had the appointment at the weekend which was really convenient for me. When I got to the practice I was greeted by Claire who was really welcoming and friendly, then by Dr McFadden who was equally as inviting.
I was put at ease, taken through the aftercare and what was about to happen during my appointment and it was completed very quickly. I have recommended my husband to have his neck skin tags removed too so we will be returning.

I am so relieved
I was a little nervous going to the BCM clinic as I had 18 Keratoses to be removed! I was warmly welcomed on arrival and put at ease straight away and everything was explained before the treatment and procedure commenced. I was thoroughly checked and my skin was analysed for any unusual marks and moles and I was told there was nothing sinister which was very reassuring.
Dr McFadden was very professional, gentle in his approach and I am so relieved they have all been removed and the healing is going very well. He was also very quick and methodical and his assistant Clare was delightful and empathetic as I am not the best patient!!!
